AG&P has developed an efficient approach for LNG import and distribution to customers in emerging markets that are without access to gas supply. Many of the proposed LNG projects in these markets are relatively small (1 to 2MTPA) requiring small-scale import terminals and break-bulk facilities to serve dispersed and distant demand centers.
A modular and scalable approach is the most pragmatic way to meet this demand for smaller volumes of LNG from a wider range of customers.
AG&P’s solutions use standardized and scalable designs, new technologies and integrate maritime and onshore LNG transport, storage, break-bulk and regasification assets, which streamlines logistics and reduces costs by eliminating bespoke engineering for each piece of infrastructure along the LNG supply chain. AG&P has developed three standardized technologies for regasification modules for its LNG import terminals that meet the needs of a wide range of customers. Application of the technologies provides options for customers in emerging markets who are currently unable to access gas. Project owners can choose the initial infrastructure they need according to the site-specific requirements for each project for efficient capital deployment. The design ensures utilization rates are high from terminal start-up and enables relocation of the regasification modules to new demand centers as required. This optimizes cash flow, facilitating faster decision-making.
A key component of AG&P’s innovative LNG import terminal design is a standardized 125MMSCFD LNG regasification module that utilizes fan ambient air vaporization (FAV), glycol-water shell and tube vaporization (STV), or innovative water-bath vaporization (WBV) technologies allowing it to be used onshore or offshore. The standardized and flexible approach not only reduces project cost and schedule, but because it is easily scalable, it meets the needs of small-scale to large-scale projects offering different delivery pressure ranges based on the requirements of each facility.
AG&P provides a complete EPC package with minimum design service life of 25 years with regular inspection and maintenance.
